HORSING AROUND / Miss Mis New Release & CS #180...

Like most couples, Jeff and I actually did fun things when we were dating - before marriage and kids - LOL! I went waaaaaaaaay back in time to November of 2005 for these pics of us. We had taken our church youth group (I was the group minister) horseback riding. It's nice to scrap life before the kiddies... although life with them is super awesome, too!

I used a new kit coming out tomorrow by Miss Mis designs, called Fall Fancy! Love these colors! And the sketch is from Creative Scrappers!

SPOOKY FUN / Miss Mis Designs New Release...

Here's a little scrappy Halloween fun! I used the newest release by Miss Mis Designs, Bewitched. I absolutely L-O-V-E  the sparkly damask paper - SO COOL! Since I didn't have any unscrapped Halloween pics, I decided to visit my one of my favorite "haunts" - Pinterest, to look for some Halloween goodness. I scrapped some cool party ideas for the future when the kids are older and into parties and stuff!

GIRLYgirl / Miss Mis New Release, DHD Technique Challenge & CS #177...

Here's my girlygirl in a hat crocheted by my mom. Mom put a huge flower on the side of it and I thought it would be cool to have it coming out of the frame. Cutting out part of a picture like this is called an extraction, which was the technique challenge over at DHD this month.

The sketch is from Creative Scrappers and the kit is a collab by 5 designers: Miss Mis Design, ViolaMoni, Lacey Bittner Design, Scrap-A-Holic and Designer Girl Scrap, called Think Pink.

GOING TO WALMART / Miss Mis New Release & CS #176...

My kids LOVE "Going to Wal-mart"! it started around the first of the year when these pics were taken. They'd be playing and I'd say "Where are you going?" and Alex would say "going to Wal-mart, Momma". Wal-mart used to be our foyer, but nowadays you'll find it in my kitchen in one of the cabinets (after they've emptied out all the tupperware!)...

This layout uses a new collaboration kit by Miss Mis & Lacey Bittner called Savvy Saver! It will be available in the shop today over at Scrapable!

I used this week's neat~o sketch from Creative Scrappers.

SUPER / Miss Mis New Release & ST 10.6.11...

Here's another page featuring my silly baby! This boy really cracks me up - always putting crazy things on his head or wearing his clothes in a funny way... he's quite the showman! Years from now he'll see this pic of him in his diaper - I hope he'll still have his sense of humor!

This layout uses a new collaboration kit by Miss Mis & Modern June called Super Pow! How fun is this kit?!?  It's perfect for documenting the super heroes in your life!

MAISIE TURNS 1 / SS #56 & BLD New Release Spotlight...

I've neglected to a scrap page of Maisie Grace's 1st birthday party for 9 months now... AND I'M SO GLAD! When I saw Lori's newest release at byLORIdesigns, the little "I'm One" Girl is SO PRECIOUS, I thought she'd be great to use on Maisie's birthday page!

I used a super cute kit from Miss Mis Designs for my page also, called Spring Fling, and one of her templates as well from the Tilted Templates set.

I'm also playing along with the Sketchabilities Sketch #56... a little modified of course...

NANA & GRAMMY / Miss Mis New Release...

 

Happy Friday! I have to warn you, this is the first post of many!  Miss Mis Designs released a new digi scrap kit, Past the Pain, today and it's just gorgeous! I thought it would be perfect to use with this old picture of my grandmother, Grammy and great-grandmother, Nana. I wish I knew the date of this photo, but I figure it's the mid 1940s. 

There are so many wonderful textures and elements and colors in this kit! I love the vintage~y feel and might just end up doing a whole album with it!

FISH FRY / New Release by Miss Mis...

I was recently accepted to the creative team of Miss Mis, whose digi scrap kits are so cute! This is my first layout as part of the team, using her newest release, Cook Like A Man! Love the little oven mitt and spatula! This kit was perfect for documenting our afternoon...

We recently went to my Meme's cabin for a fish fry! Uncle Jerry cranked up the fryer, and as he took the fish out, he placed them in a towel lined brown bag... how cool is that? Most all the family was there, everyone brought a dish. I took my favorites hashbrown casserole and pineapple casserole - YUM!

CURIOUS / adscraps #2...

Happy 8th of August! Today starts the second week challenge of my new venture - digital ad{scrap}tations. If you love to digi scrap, I would LOVE for you to play along! I even have a fun template of my layout for this week's challenge, and you can download it below!

These pics were taken around the holidays of 2009. Alex was a year and a half and it was only a few weeks until Maisie was to arrive! My grandmother loves to garden and Alex found this dirty old plastic frog and decided to gnaw on it - YUCK!
