"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." ~ Isaiah 55: 8-11

WHOLE HEART / RS #125...

Happy Saturday!!! We have a brand new sketch up over at RetroSketches! It's based on this card I made a while back. I had some scraps leftover from yesterday's card, and since the colors reminded me of Valentine's, I reached for one of my FAVE Reverse Confetti sets, Crushin'.

Big hugs,

Happy Friday! I have a fun little card today showing off another adorable image from A Day For Daisies, called Ladybug Delivery! Our new challenge today is to use torn edges, so I tore the top of the image's panel.

Be sure to head over to the ADFD blog and see the other ladies' inspiration & play along ~ you won't be disappointed!

Big hugs,

Happy Thursday! Of course, not quite happy, happy ~ when I tried to get a photo of this early this morning, my camera battery was dead. But I'm here now with my card for this week's new Deconstructed Sketch! Did you play last week? We were sponsored by My Favorite Things, and I am using the set  LLD Delicious Birthday again! This will be for my grandfather's brithday this weekend - he's going to be 89!

Be sure to to play along and check out all the other ladies wonderful inspiration this week!

Have a beautiful day!

Hello! I have a new card for this week's colourQ ~ how about these fun & funky colors??? I totally love them and decided I needed to do some funky stamping to go with it! I also loved the gold in the palette's inspiration, so I threw on a few gold sequins. I used a few brush strokes from My Favorite Things' DC Abstract Art.

( The stamp set was from an add-on of Studio Calico's... it was exclusively designed for them by Avery Elle. Unfortunately it's no longer available. )

have a great day!

This week The Deconstructed Sketch is being sponsored by My Favorite Things!! MFT is offering a $25.00 gift certificate to one lucky Deconstructed Sketch participant!!

They released so many amazing birthday related images and dies this month ~ I'm in heaven! Birthday cards are ALWAYS needed around here, especially in the summertime... I think we have over 10 family birthdays in the summer! I used the Die-namics Balloon Stax and LLD Delicious Birthday stamps. I can already tell these are going to get a lot of use.

Here's what you need to do to be entered into the drawing:

HEY THERE / CQC #250...

Hello ~ happy Tuesday! We have a fun new palette for you over at colourQ today - I love it! It's our 250th challenge, how crazy is that??? I used an awesome set from the Alley Way Stamps - Flower Doodles. The sentiment is also TAWS, from Calypso. I just added a few splashes of color with Copics.

Bye for now...

THANKS / RS #123...

Hey there ~ we have a brand new sketch over at RetroSketches! It is so fun and I was so excited to use it! I found a bunch of scraps for my little banners, and used the set Speech Bubbles from Sweet Stamp Shop! Of course, now I am wondering if I should have used a different color for the card base? Hmmmm....

Bye for now...

Hello! How's your weekend? We celebrated my dad's birthday yesterday and today went to a family reunion! Busy, busy! I used the set My Guy from Paper Smooches for my dad's birthday card! The 'grass' and 'sky' were made using My Favorite Things' DC Jumbo Abstract Art.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hello! That means we have a brand new Deconstructed Sketch today! I love the simplicity!!! I decided instead of all paper, I would throw in some colorful washi. I also dug around my button jars and found some patterned buttons to add. I used one of my favorite sets from My Favorite Things -  LJD Cheerful Blessings. I know I use it a lot, but I love the typography and sweet messages of this set. Does anyone know of any other inspirational/religious sets that might be similar? Let me know!

Be sure to to play along and check out all the other ladies wonderful inspiration this week!

Have an awesome day!

HELLO SUMMER Hybrid Treat Box / P&Co Dollar Days...

Hello! I have a little treat box I am showing off today with products from Pixels and Company's Dollar Days - that's right - both of these digital kits were ONE DOLLAR each! I love that when I create a digital file for a hybrid project, I can save it and use it again and again! I printed 2 of the flower, one slightly smaller than the other and rounded the leaves up on the bottom one & down on the top one - then added a real button.

CONGRATS / CQC #249 & CTS #83...

Hey there! How was your 4th? We went up to the lake and had a great weekend with my parents and grandparents! The fireworks are amazing over the water. There were several house that put on quite a show - at times it seemed they were competing! And here's a pic of the kids with my grandparents, Alex and Helen. We call them Meme and Grandaddy. Maisie Grace was named after Meme's mother and my dad's mom "Grammy", and Alex is named after Grandaddy.

This week's colourQ is gorgeous - I used a sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch!. I also used a couple of my fave sets from Altenew - Hennah Elements and Label Love.

Have an awesome day!
