"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." ~ Isaiah 55: 8-11

Happy Saturday! I hope you're having fun, whatever you're doing! We are just spending a lazy day at home and then hope to break in our new fire pit now that the evenings are getting a little nippy! My card is for the newest RetroSketch! I used Tiny Treats: Christmas from Papertrey Ink.

Here's a silly card for today's new colourQ Challenge! In keeping with the Halloween~y colors, I looked back and found this delightful image from A Day For Daisies. (The shop is down right now, hackers struck! But hopefully it will be back up soon!) This release, Green Eyed Monsters came out in 2012 - seems like yesterday! I used Monster Peter... he is my favorite! I erased his eyes before I printed him, so that I could use this huge squiggly eye.

Come visit us over at colourQ, see the ladies amazing inspiration and play along!

Have an awesome day!

LOVE YOU / RS #137...

We started a new RetroSketch on Saturday, and it is FABulous! I know it's early for Valentine's - but "love" is never out of style, is it?!? I die cut the deckled square first, and then the word. The button does match, but only one line towards the middle of the patterned paper. :)

Be sure to head over, see the other ladies' inspiration and play along with us!

Thanks for stopping by,

KEEP CALM & GET CORNY / CQC #263 & CCC #117...

Hello! Happy Tuesday! We have some fun Halloween~y colors for you this week over at the colourQ! Don't faint - I know this isn't a square card - LOL!

I used the adorable image, Dancing Candy Corn Tower from A Day For Daisies, and just used the top little guy. The "sentiment' was made using the site, Keep Calm-o-matic. I just typed in my words and then took a screen shot, and added it to my card. I am also playing with CASology, whose theme is "candy".

Have an awesome day!

Good morning! How are you? Well, I've been to the pumpkin patch twice this week... I have Halloween on the brain - LOL! And lots of cute pumpkins, too! I just love this set, Tiny Treats : Halloween from Papertrey Ink. It was perfect for this week's sweet new RETROsketch

We are going to the lake for a day or two... I can't wait! No TV or internet (except my tablet!), lots of reading and playing with the kids - YAY!

Have a wonderful weekend!
