CALL YOUR MOTHER / ADFD #42 & mOJO #238...

Tammy has an awesome new release for you today!!! It's called Call Your Mother, and it's adorable! I did some digital paper piecing with  this funky calico paper I found at Jessica Sprague by Kitchy Digitals. The image is called "Call Your Mother". I love this fun image, of course I love anything vintage or retro!

Our challenge this week at A Day For Daisies is to use calico, or another small patterned paper. You can play along here.

IN A JAM / TAWS #3 & MOJO #237...

Okay, here's another card for today... this time I'm using stamps from The Alley Way - adorable!!! I stamped the cars on each of the patterned papers, the white base strip and 4 more times on another piece of white paper. Then I cut out the cars, layered them & cut out the white windows and popped them on. the orad is hand drawn & the clouds & sky were sponged with a scallop oval as a template.

The cute cards are form the set Priceless Joy and the sentiment is from Kitchen Gadgets.

MERMAID / DS #8 & Mojo #224...

This is my last card for today - whew! We start a new challenge today over at the Dilly Beans Challenge, the theme is "the Blues". I chose to work with this gorgeous image, Mermaid. I LOVE MERMAIDS!!! She's colored with Copics and then I added some stickles to her hair and fish~body (LOL - what else do I call it?!?)... but not too may stickles, just a few! Be sure to go see the other ladies cards - they're FAB!!!

I also used (and slightly abused!) the Mojo sketch... heehee! From my computer screen to my craft area, I often forget what a sketch looks like... but I think it's close!

Hello! I have one last card for today... it features 3 adorable new images form byLORIdesigns, which I merged together. I'm calling it "Big Birthday Wishes". Who wouldn't want a cake this big? LOL!

GRASSHOPPER'S UMBRELLA / Mojo #179, SSIC #76...

I have a group over at CDAC for the Wax Fruit Company, and I've really been having fun over there! All those ladies are super sweet! After I finished drawing this digi, I put up a sneak peek and ran a little contest. The first person who guessed what the new stamp was going to be would win it! Here was the sneak peek:

Patricia Gomez was the winner! I really thought I would have everyone fooled - lol! The stamp is called Grasshopper's Umbrella.

I used the Mojo sketch, altered a little of course! I also played along with a new-to-me challenge Stampin' Sisters in Christ, Simply Create and Totally Papercrafts.

[poppies &] BUTTERFLIES / CQC #68, Mojo #174 & TSG #90...

Happy Tuesday! My first card for you today is for the new colourQ Challenge that starts today - YAY!!! I thought these colors looked so great together...

I used the latest Mojo sketch as inspiration, and made it a point to play along with There She Goes to wet emboss, since I've been neglecting them! I need to make more time for the challenges/companies I love & they are one of them! Heck, I must love them because I was scrounging around at 12am looking for my stinkin' heat gun that I haven't used in forever - lol! And you know I wouldn't do that for just anyone!

I clear embossed the butterflies from the set Poppies, by There She Goes, and then dabbed Poppy Parade and Cherry Cobbler ink all over it. You can't tell from the pic, but after I dry embossed the top panel, I dabbed some white pigment ink on the raised parts, sprinkled those with clear emboss & wet embossed it a little, too. On the bottom, I used the Papertrey Eyelet Lace border die & cut felt for the trim & them added pearls.

The felt, by the way, was some I bought on Etsy, from giantdwarf. OMGosh - I love it! It die cuts with all my thin metal dies PERFECTLY! So this is a warning - you may see me go through a "felt" phase for the next few weeks (remember my "eyelet border punch flower" phase? This could be worse...

BLOSSOM CUPCAKE BIRTHDAY / CQC #67 & Mojo #173...

Today's colourQ is all about happy & bright~ since my baby, Maisie, will be turning ONE on Friday!!! WOW, how did a whole year go by?

This is a big week for birthdays... my sweet friend Lori is having one TOMORROW!!! She's lucky, her family celebrates her birthday ALL WEEK! I used the Mojo sketch, turned it on it's side & went to town! There a lot of bling on this card, as well as stickles for the 'frosting'. I need to work on photographing glittery stuff better!

The image is from A Day For Daisies... called Blossom Cupcake. You HAVE to go see these cupcakes... here's the whole set ~ they look so yummy!

WOOHOO - byLORIdesigns' first challenge starts TODAY!!! YAY!!! You HAVE to come play along!

I used Tammy Sugar Stick for this card, as well as the Cat Sugar Stick, both of which can be found here! I colored the rhinestones with my Copics - super cool, I may never buy colored rhinestones again! The sentiment is PTI. I llosely based this card on this wek's Mojo sketch.
