WHAT'S UP GHOUL-FRIEND / CQC #212 & JAI #187...

Hello hello! Is it a full moon??? My kids have been W-I-L-D today... I am worn out! We started a new challenge over at the colourQ - LOVE these fun Halloween colors! I paired it with the sketch over at Just Add Ink - isn't it awesome? I used a circle punch for the spider's body and glued 4 pieces of twine to the back for the legs, and added googly eyes.

HOLIDAY SPARKLES / DD #66 & FTL #254...

I got to stamp for fun today - LOL! Well, it's FUN every time I stamp, so I suppose I mean I got to stamp a card that's not for an assignment! I also played along with some challenges, which is awesome! I used Stackem' High (I masked my card base with sticky notes to stamp the border) and Holiday Sparkles.

I played along with Dynamic Duos, the Fall-to Layout at Clean & Simple and Just Add Ink - YAY ME! You know I love challenges, and I am trying to get back to playing with my favorites!

WINTER WONDERLAND / Fresh Squeezed Spotlight & JAI #145...

This card is being spotlighted over at the Fresh Squeezed blog today, using their set Winter Wonderland. I really love this set and have had so much fun with it this month! AND, I have also had so much fun being a guest designer for Fresh Squeezed Stamps.

I decided to use this adorable little tree and  emboss it. I wanted an elegant, yet funky card using black, white and red... so I dug out some damask paper and some washi & "went to town!" You can find this cute set, Winter Wonderland here. I loosely based this card on the current Just Add Ink sketch!

CHRISTMAS SCENE / JAI #39 & TAWS Inspiration...

Hello! Here's a very quick card that took me all evening to make - LOL! Maisie has had a very high fever, so she's been pretty clingy... poor baby! Anyways, I used Trees Company to make this fun little Christmas scene. The "hills" were made with an oval punch! Easy peas~y! I used stickles to make the snow.

 I am also entering this into the Just Add Ink's theme to use something new! The paper I used is a new one from MME...love it! Also played with Card Positioning Systems, using sketch #211... so sad they are ending the challenges and awesome sketches!

BE UNIQUE / JAI #138...

Here's a quick little card - under 10 minutes I swear! When I saw this combo over at Just Add Ink - I had to play along! I just LOVE these colors together! Obviously I was sitting on a little bit of a slant when I stamped this - LOL! I used Basic Gray and Daffodil Delight. The stamps are from The Alley Way - Cover Ups and Talk to Me.

BIRD OF PARADISE / WFCo New Release, TPE #100 & JAI #67...

Good morning~ hope your weekend was awesome! We stayed pretty busy, LOTS of laundry was washed, folded & refolded (thanks to Alex & Maisie!), ironed... ah the joys of motherhood! I have a couple new images out today at the Wax Fruit Company, one of which I used for today's new Pink Elephant challenge! It's called "Bird of Paradise", quite an original name, no?

Our sponsor at the Pink Elephant for this challenge is our very own Trudi, owner of the newly opened Pink Petal Designs, whose talents include hand dyeing this seam binding ribbon in so many gorgeous colors! I HAD to have the orange when I saw it... YUMM!

MORE NEW BEGINNINGS/ CR84FN #15 & JAI #56...

I love trees! Especially "happy little trees"... (anyone get the Bob Ross inference? LOL) This tree was both watercolored and Copic'd. The main image isn't matted, I just colored around the edge with a yellow Copic!

This card was made with the following sets: New Beginnings Triptych and complimenting sentiments, Inspired Quotes, over at the Wax Fruit Company.

The two challenges I played with are super awesome this week!!! Color from CR84FN and sketch from Just Add Ink! Both of these blogs have outstanding style, not only are the challenges & inspiration great, their blogs are gorgeous!

LIGHT OF MY LIFE TOTE BAG / ADFD New Release...

Here's the tote I made.... it only took a few hours! My mom is begging for one & she hasn't even seen this one yet - lol! This image is a custom photo stamp from A Day for Daisies. Tammy will take your favorite photo and turn it into a work of art! And as you can see the creative possibilities are endless!!! Next I think I may print it on watercolor paper and paint it to hang... so stay tuned!

This tote was so fun to make! I digitally paper pieced the image, printed it on dark fabric transfer paper from HP & ironed it on! Then I sewed on some trim & buttons... easy peasy! If you get a custom stamp from Tammy and are interested in having a paper-pieced tote like this one, send me an email...

I'm entering this into the challenge from Just Add Ink again!
