"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." ~ Isaiah 55: 8-11

Well hello and happy day!!! It's Day #3 of The Alley Way Stamps November Sneak Peeks - so be sure to go take a peek and comment for you chance to win this cute new set, In Stitches!

I stamped the 3 stitched hearts on patterned paper and then trimmed them out. he I stacked them together and cut them into the pieces so I could mix and match the pieces for a little quilted look. I used the adorable new Freshly Made Sketch, as well as this gorgeous color combo from the Color Throwdown

Have an awesome day...

JOY / 10MCD #28...

Hello! I couldn't resist when I saw this gorgeous card by Caryn at the 10 Minute Craft Dash - I used it as inspiration for my own Craft Dash Card. (I hope she doesn't mind!) I used one of he Delicate Doilies by The Alley Way Stamps. Armed with tons of enamel dots, you could quickly crank out a lot of these for your Christmas cards this year!

Love & hugs,

Happy Saturday! We have such a fun new sketch today over at RetroSketches - you're gonna love it!!! I modified it for a square, and shrunk it down a little bit. I wanted to use this funky leaf paper, so I stamped some leaves to match using images from Crazy Critters and a sentiment from It's Fall About You. Then I got crazy with the enamel dots... not sure exactly why I stuck a single yellow one up above, it just seemed to land there - LOL!

Have an awesome day...

SWEETEST WISHES / PTI October Blog Hop...

Hello hello! I was able to eek out a few minutes to throw together a little tag for this month's Papertrey Ink October Bog Hop! I love tags and don't make them as often as I should. The snow on the roof and the ground was leftover from a deckle edge die cut scrap. The I added some chunky clear glitter.

Here's the set I used, Tiny Treats: Christmas Stamp Set along with 2 dies - Love Lives Here and Christmas Tree

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hello! I can't believe Friday came so soon and is almost over already! The days, weeks & months just seem to be flying by! Speaking of flying by - isn't this the cutest little image? It called Little Crow Witch by A Day For Daisies! I just LOVE Tammy's delicate little images - they make me so so happy!!! As with all the cards I make with Tammy's images, I just kept it simple. I love for her images to be in the spotlight!

Be sure to head over and check out all the other ladies projects over at the ADFD blog!

Big hugs!

Good morning! Only one week left to make Halloween cards - eeeek! The kiddies are all excited about Halloween - Alex is going as Iron Man and Maisie chose a pink Bat Girl costume! Have you seen all the controversy over pink super hero costumes for girls and how wrong it is... well Maisie had a choice, and she wanted the pink tutu'd Bat Girl~ sorry politically correct people... my 3 1/2 year old thinks it's perfectly fine to want to look like a princess/super hero!

Today's card is for the new Deconstructed Sketch - I was a little scared of it - not sure why... maybe the proportions of the layers? Anyway, I used the cute little candy corn from Ghoul-Friend by The Alley Way Stamps!

Big hugs!

Hello hello! Is it a full moon??? My kids have been W-I-L-D today... I am worn out! We started a new challenge over at the colourQ - LOVE these fun Halloween colors! I paired it with the sketch over at Just Add Ink - isn't it awesome? I used a circle punch for the spider's body and glued 4 pieces of twine to the back for the legs, and added googly eyes.

Bye for now,

VERY MERRY / RS #86...
