"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." ~ Isaiah 55: 8-11

SWEEPING FALL / ADFD New Release & Challenge#28...

Happy Friday! Maisie is still under the weather & she and her brother kept me up til after 3:3o last night! So I am a ZOMBIE as I type this - LOL! The new A Day For Daisies release is out - Fall Cuties - and they ARE CUTE!!!

I did some digital paper piecing for this card, so fun! Then I did some coloring of her hair and skin & the broom... the wrinkle ribbon is from Sherry - LOVE her colors!

Bye for now...

PEACE & QUIET / DS #21...

gOOD mORNING! Well, by my typing you can tell something wonky is up with my day so far... Maisie is sick & I've been up half the night with her! We started a new daycare on Monday, so I'm sure it's the "new" germs - high temp and can't keep anything down - UGH!

We have a brand new sketch for you over at the Deconstructed Sketch! I turned it on it's side. The image is from the A Day For Daisies exclusive September Club Kit. Isn't it darling?

 Thanks for stopping by!

Here's a quick little card I threw together, loosely based on Ginny's card she did for a colourQ challenge a while back. Lori also made a version of it for yesterday's colourQ. While the strips in the background are super fabulous, i skipped those (LOL) I really like the simple popped up layer and twine - so sweet! Plus I used a bunch of scraps I had laying about! Here are those 2 fabulous cards...

The die is from Papertrey, Inc. The paper is Echo Park's Summer Days. The twine is from Jodi @ talkingtwineandtrim over at Etsy!

I also played along with 2 "Anything Goes Challenges" @ Party Time Tuesdays & Anything Goes Challenge Blog.

Bye for now...

Lori has released new images over at the shop... THEY'RE TOO CUTE! I used Peyton - a Bug&Roo image by Hannah for this little notebook! So adorable! I really love her little Bug&Roo line, and the new ones with the glasses really crack me up!

Last year I bought a few of these blank mini notebooks over at Big Lots for $1. Can't beat that! I ran the papers through my Xyron so they'd be really sticky, and cut them to just fit on the front of the mini book. I used some ribbon scraps on the top!

I also played with Clear It Out Tuesday, to "Alter Something".

Thanks for stopping by!

The colourQ is turning TWO - WOOHOO! Today's challenge is to CASE a previous colourQueen, using the palette of colors. I used Samantha's winning card from challenge #16. I've always loved this card!

The images on this card are digital stamps by Jen Allyson from the Vanity Fair Sepia Stamps collection.

Thanks for stopping by!

Here are 2 new images just in time for fall, my favorite time of year! Although it looks like fall is going to take longer to get here this year in southern Alabama, I couldn't help but draw these to get myself in the mood! This first one is called Crate of Pumpkins. Makes me want to hurry out to the pumpkin field with the kiddies!

And this second image is called Indian Corn. The husk of which is smartly tied in a little knot! Won't it be super fun to color all those little kernels in beautiful jewel tones?!?

Have a great day!

ME & MY DRAGON / ADFD New Release...

A VERY happy Friday to you! The new ADFD release, My Dragon,  is just YUMMY this week - I love these little dragons!

The image on this card was digitally paper pieced with a digi paper pack by Gennifer Bursett called Favorite Things. All I did was piece it, color the girl's hair and body with Copics and put the card together~ the inside says
"Think left and think right and
think low and think high.
Oh, the thinks you can think up
if only you try!  ~Dr. Seuss"

Here's the whole release:

Bye for now...

Wow, it's so hard to believe my special friend Lori started her little shop of yummy delights, byLORIdesigns, a WHOLE year ago! WOOHOO!!!! To celebrate we're having a hop! With prizes! And fun!!!

I used one of Hannah's Bug & Roo stamps for this special birthday card...

Here is the hop order, just in case you get lost along the way:

Have fun hopping!

STACK O' LANTERNS / DS #20 & WFCo New Release...

Wow, I can't believe it's Thursday already! I'm late with this post today, I was sick in bed all day yesterday with a 24 hour bug - UGH! We start a brand new Deconstructed Sketch today, such a FUN sketch, too!

The image is a new one from the Wax Fruit Company, called Stack o' Lanterns! I did a little digital paper piecing for this card, using some great vintage~y papers by Jen Allyson.

Here is the latest Deconstructed Sketch:

The papers I used are digital, by Jen Allyson. Both are fomr the Vintage Findings Collection, Black and Cream Papers and Antique Prints.

Bye for now...

I hate to say that Poptarts have become an "everyday" staple in our home. The kids eat breakfast at daycare, so their "pre-breakfast" while I'm getting ready for work is usually one of these delicious pastries. Chocolate is the big favorite.Maisie manages to get it all over herself anyway, although you'd think it would be a fairly clean thing to eat!

This digi layout was for a recent Digi Morph over at Design House Digital. The morph starts with a layout which is scraplifted by the first person on the list and then their layout "travels" to the next. So only the first person sees the original layout and as it travels along it morphs. Here is the REVEAL!

The digi kit is from Jen Allyson, called Nostalgia.

Thanks for stopping by!

FLUTTERBY / CQC #102 & FTL #158...

We have a brand new colourQ challenge for you today! These are such fun, bright colors - aren't they awesome? Although I'm not sure I could eat off them, though! The inspiration for the colors comes from these plates at Anthropologie. The awesome sketch is the Fall-to Layout #158 from Clean and Simple Stamping - I really LOVE those gals!!! Their sketches are always the BOMB!

This image is called "Flutterby", available at the Wax Fruit Company. I added a little glitter to the inside of the flower.

Have an awesome day!

It's release day over at A Day for Daisies! AND, a new challenge starts today, too - Get Gift~~! Check it out!

I used an empty Starbucks bottle to make this little gift!

Have a great day!
