"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." ~ Isaiah 55: 8-11

FA-LA-LA / DS #61 & TAWS Be Inspired #6...

Good morning! We had a crazy couple days around here... you can read about it at the end of the post. We begin a new Deconstructed Sketch today - YAY! I used the current freebie at The Alley Way Stamps, and the sentiment is from Fa-la-la! This card is also inspired by the Be Inspired Challenge over at TAWS, which ends at noon mountain time today! There are free stamps up for grabs, so if you haven't played, you should!

Here is the new Deconstructed Sketch...

So, back to our busy day... Jeff was running through the rain in a parking lot Tuesday afternoon, stepped off a curb wrong and hurt his leg. That night it was swollen and HUGE! But being the man that he is, he wouldn't go to the ER. Yesterday morning I convinced him to go to the clinic on base, while I took Alex to his eye doctor appointment. Alex needs glasses & we found a great pair - he was so excited! And then he was sad, because they had to keep them to put the lenses in. He cried. Then Jeff called saying he was being sen the the ER at the local hospital and in the meantime my dad had arranged an appointment for him at a specialist. So I went to the ER after dropping Alex off at daycare, and from there we went to the other doc. Diagnosis - he tore a major muscle in his calf... so he's pretty much confined to the couch/bed for the rest of the week. He can only hobble. It's awful! It will take 3 or 4 months to heal. UGH!

Anyway, here's Alex and his glasses,  Jeff's swollen leg, and a pic of sweet Maisie reading a book.

Bye for now...
