Hello! The kiddies are fed, bathed and have their next dose of meds... YAY! Bedtime will be soon! Poor things, they have been running fevers since Sunday.

This card is for today's colourQ - LOVE these colors. It also features the new sentiment set, Words To Live By, from The Alley Way Stamps, as well as a little paisley from their set Doodle Frames. I also incorporated the latest challenge from CASology!

We are celebrating our 52nd challenge over at RetroSketches! WOW - so hard to believe it's been a whole year! I chose RetroSketch #44 for this card and used Lighter Than Air and All About You from The Alley Way Stamps. I just LOVE paper piecing these images!

MERMAIDS / ADFD Re-Release & Challenge...

Hello! This post is a couple days late, as we were having a weekend getaway! It rained the entire time, but the conference was great and Jeff and I got some much needed alone time! And we ate a LOT of good food!!!

We featured a past release at A Day For Daisies on Friday, Childhood, and I used 2 images - Mermaid Fairy and Mermaid of Stars. We also started a new challenge, to use die cuts. Please go check out everyone's inspiration and join the fun with the freebie provided!

FRAMED FLOWERS / DB #65...

We begin a new challenge today over at Dilly Beans Challenge blog - "red & pink"! I love the new images Megan has up in the shop - very "zentangle"! I used Framed Flowers and played around with it in Photoshop and printed out these panels to create this card.

HELLO / TAWS Be Inspired #22...

Happy Friday!!! This card is for the current Be Inspired Challenge over at The Alley Way Stamps. I used mostly Awesome Blossom and Petal Pushers, the sentiment is from Doodle Frames.

I put a ruler down onto my card and put post-it notes down to mask the area. After stamping, I colored in parts of the images with colored pencils. I added the little bit of embossing by putting my EF onto the floor and stomping on part of it - LOL!

LIFE / DS #90...

Good morning! Whew - we're getting ready for our little getaway weekend, and things around here are hopping! Anyone else get into "extreme cleaning" mode before a trip? I don't even want to tell you how many loads of laundry I've done - LOL!

My card today is for The Deconstructed Sketch... I LOVE LOVE LOVE this one!!! I used a sentiment from The Alley Way Stamp's set, All About You. I'm a little OCD (okay - maybe a lot) about my cardmaking. I always try to center my paper to be embossed in the embossing folder! But my reason for pointing that out, is that it actually helped me get everything on this card centered!
