"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." ~ Isaiah 55: 8-11

VINTAGE SCHOOL GIRL #5 / ADFD New Release...

(Looking for the Claudia & Company Hop? Please scroll down!)

Tammy has a gorgeous new release out today at A Day For Daisies... I love vintage~y things, and these digis are exceptional!!! They are availabe in her ADFD Etsy shop!

I went with VERY clean and simple... I debossed the oval nesty, colored pearls and ribbon with matching Copics and was finished in about 10 minutes... Tammy's images are so gorgeous they hardley need any dresing up - lol!

Thanks for stopping by!

MAISIE LOLLIPOP / C&C Blog Hop & FTL #129...

Today is Claudia & Company's first ever Customer Blog Hop! YIPPPEEEE! I chose my FAVE digi, Maisie Lollipop by Lori Boyd for the hop! (She's named for my baby girl, so I'm kinda biased! LOL)

I decided to color her skirt to match the paper...

And I used the Latest Fall-to Layout, even though I replaced the sentiment with an image!
Bye for now...

EASTER TEA / PTW #53 & DTC #99...

Spring is in the air!!! This image, Easter Tea, is my newest digi over at the Wax Fruit Company! Here I did a little digital paper piecing, since I'm not sure I own any coloring mediums that are pastel - lol!

I love simple sketches like this week's Papertake Weekly challenge, for bigger images. My card base is 5x5. I also played along with a few other challenges for this one:

Digital Tuesday - Punches
Crafty Creations - Garden theme
Creative Cottage - Florals
Forgotten Scraps - Spring or flowers
Party Time Tuesday - Anything goes

Thanks for stopping by!

THANKS A BUNCH / SR#60 & ACT #70...

Wow ~ how did it get to be Wednesday already? Yay, 2 more days until the weekend - lol! We have a sketch challenge for you today over at Stampin' Royalty... and I LOVED this sketch!

I don't remember the name of this stamp, I think it was a Stampin' Up! hostess set? One with all the punch shaped stamps. I used Stacey's awesome Curtain Call Act #70 colors... I just HAD to play with them this week!

Thank you so much for stopping by~

GRASSHOPPER'S UMBRELLA / Mojo #179, SSIC #76...

I have a group over at CDAC for the Wax Fruit Company, and I've really been having fun over there! All those ladies are super sweet! After I finished drawing this digi, I put up a sneak peek and ran a little contest. The first person who guessed what the new stamp was going to be would win it! Here was the sneak peek:

Patricia Gomez was the winner! I really thought I would have everyone fooled - lol! The stamp is called Grasshopper's Umbrella.

I used the Mojo sketch, altered a little of course! I also played along with a new-to-me challenge Stampin' Sisters in Christ, Simply Create and Totally Papercrafts.

Bye for now...

POCKET SILHOUETTES / CQC #73 & LiM #3...

Happy Tuesday! Here's a card that I literally threw together in a few minutes for today's colourQ challenge! Quick cards can be so fun and stylish, but I hardly ever make them...

But I have been trying more the last few weeks since I found the Less Is More challenge ~ so fun! Their theme this week is spring...

By for now...

THE RED WHEEL BARROW / WFCo New Release & SSSC #105...

Good morning! I was a busy bee over the weekend, laundry, playing outside with the kiddos and doodling! This is from a new set at the Wax Fruit Company called The Red Wheel Barrow! It was inspired by a poem of the same name by William Carlos Williams.

I played along with Karen's sketch for this card. Using some of my October Afternoon Thrift Shop paper, in my favorite colors of course, I blocked in the background. And I added some buttons, since I can't seem to make a card these days without buttons - lol!

Have an awesome day!

CORN LILIES / WFCo New Release, FTL #128 & WMSSC #44...

We had another gorgeous day in the mid 70s! And another day playing outside! This new image from the Wax Fruit Company is called Corn Lilies, and here I paper pieced it... I just love that technique!!!

The sentiment is from a set called Encouraging Words. I think what I love most about this set is being able to color in the focal word to match!

I get great inspiration each week from Clean & Simple Stamping's Fall-to Layout... I rarely miss it! Sometimes I manage to stick to clean and simple, but I admit that most of the time I get more complicated with it than I should! This card is based on this week's Fall-to Layout and the challenge at Wee Memories to base something on our source of inspiration.

Have a great night!
