It's late, and I AM on my way to bed... but I wanted to post this card I made using this week's RetroSketch! My sweet mom's birthday was yesterday, and this was my card for her. She is brilliant when it comes to sewing, so I thought this cute set from Paper Smooches was perfect ~ Needle Little Love. I also played with Color Throwdown, but I must admit, the colors are a tad different!

Hello!!! It's Thursday - I've survived both kids field trips this week, mowed the back yard (not so fun in 90 degree / extremely humid weather!)... now I just have cleaning, laundry and the front lawn to mow! I can't wait for the weekend!

We have a new sketch this week over at The Deconstructed Sketch! I decided to play along with the gorgeous colors at Color Throwdown, and grabbed an old stand-by from Papertrey Ink that I thought would be perfect - Wreath for All Seasons.

Hello! We have a new RetroSketch for you today, based on one of my cards. I decided to try Papertrey Ink's Make It Monday, to do an artsy watercolor background. I created a mask for my stamping using a circle die & an old receipt. The sets are Wet Paint and Doodlie-Do, two of my absolute favorites. I also played along with the Color Throwdown's gorgeous colors this week!

Hello! I'm taking care of a sick baby today, which I guess was the inspiration for this sentiment. Maisie has strep, so I get little bits of time when she's not all snuggle~y in my lap. She's so so sweet!

This card is for the new Deconstructed Sketch this week, very cool sketch! I thought these colors from the Color Throwdown were equally cool - I may use them again - LOL! I used Bigger Blooms from Papertrey Ink, I love this set...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY / RS #105 & ctd #282...

One more for today... this card was this week's new RetroSketch and ended up for my Meme's 81st  birthday, too. I had made a different one, but liked this one better! I loved these colors from the Color Throwdown - aren't they fun? I used sticky notes to mask the corner, and added an enamel dot to one of the flowers - that's the only embellishment! Crazy, huh?!? I usually use more - LOL! The stamps are Bigger Blooms from Papertrey Ink.

YOU MELT MY ❤ / CTD #278 & FMS #122...

Hello! Here is a little card I whipped up for this week's Color Throwdown [thanks ladies for the shout-out for last week's!!!] and also Freshly Made Sketches! I got some Lawn Fawn happy mail a couple days ago, isn't this set - Here's the Scoop adorable??? I stamped the little cones onto the larger tag (Tag Me - Reverse Confetti) and then stamped them again on the Pistachio and Pirouette. I used a black pen to go over the eyes and mouth.

While I love this card, maybe I went too heavy one the black/red/kraft? I reserve the right to a "do-over" - LOL!

Good morning! It's Thursday - can you believe it? The kids have been home since Tuesday from pre-school... they are more stir crazy than ever! We have a new Deconstructed Sketch for you today, and I must say I took some "liberties" with it~ LOL! I also played along with Color Throwdown! The stamp set, Crushin' and CUTE tag dies came from Reverse Confetti.
