"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." ~ Isaiah 55: 8-11

UNSCRIPTED EARTH DAY BLOG HOP...

Good morning and happy belated Earth Day! If you've come from April's blog, you're in the right place... if not - you should start at the beginning at Unscripted Sketches! Not only do we have a great sketch for you this week, we also are using recycled materials for our sample cards!

My card uses scrap cardstock (I file all my scraps by color...), the ribbon was a scrap, also. I keep all my scrap ribbon in a big jar. The flowers were cut from a cereal box, the printed paper is from a magazine, both were on their way to the recycle bin. I even printed the quote on the back of a piece of paper that was going into the recycling bin! Okay - I admit - the brads are the only thing that are new...

Thanks so much for hopping by, now you're off to BR-T's blog, have fun!

Wow, another beautiful creation Arielle. I love that almost everything on the card is being repurposed and the quote goes so well with the theme. Love it!

Arielle, this is such a great card! As you know, I'm a sucker for the vintage book paper. I love how you really aged it up.

Oh my goodness! I love this card! And the next post, and the next post, too!

I just decided to pop in and see How ARE you? if you stayed a Demo after your baby was born and you sure have! I don't do much on SparkPeople any more but have stayed with SUO myself. Plan to go to Convention in July, too. You?

Wow, what a great card! I love the way you managed to find a way to use almost entirely repurposed materials for the challenge. The cereal box flowers are awesome.
