"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." ~ Isaiah 55: 8-11

AWESOME BLOSSOM / DD #18...

Here's a quick little card using The Alley Way Stamps' set, Awesome Blossom.... I LOVE THIS SET! Which I'm sure you must know by now, since I've been using it a lot! When I saw the gorgeous duo over at Dynamic Duos (that is such a great challenge name!) I knew what I wanted to do.

I've been playing around with shapes lately, mostly cutting them apart, like I did here with this nestability die cut. The easiest way to do this is to cut your layers, then stack them before you cut the divisions. Then I just stamped one one section, embossed one and made one from patterned paper.

These flowers remind me of these funky "lilies" we have here in the south, spider lilies... any other parts of the country have them?  They don't have leaves, and this time of year they just pop up out of the ground with no warning. They are so cool! You can actually buy bulbs for them!

Thanks for stopping by!
