"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." ~ Isaiah 55: 8-11

FRIEND / CQC #154...

WOW - today's new challenge over at the colourQ is one of my favorite combos - EVER! And YES - this is the 3rd colourQ in a row that I have used this same stamp set, Awesome Blossom from The Alley Way Stamps.

As a matter of fact, as a little personal dare (because I love little personal dares) I have decided to use this set every week for my colourQ card the entire month of September. HOW FUN IS THAT?!?

The technique from the main panel is something I saw and pinned on Pinterest yesterday....this card by Anneke. Her site is awesome, and in Dutch - so I'm not sure her exact process, but I'll tell you how I did it. I inked my acrylic block with my ink pads, sprayed it with water and stamped the block onto paper. The I used it to stamps my flowers on. Neat, huh?

Thanks so much for visiting & bye for now...

Love the 'colour chip' background, the opposing rounded corners and especially the watercolour background! Great use of these colours!

Looks kind of retro or tie dye-ish! Holy cow is that a word LOL. Anyway it's pretty and I look forward to seeing what else you whip up with this stamp ;)

Very very cool card Arielle. You did those colours justice. A very fun technique. I think your idea to use the same stamp set all of September is genius. How often we don't give our stamp sets a fair shake, we make a card and then hide it away. I am going to try to make more cards with a set before filing it away!

Beautiful card Arielle. Funny that you did this technique. I just found another blog that showed how to do the same thing. I was going to give it a try in the next few days. And I love the idea of using the same stamp set for the month.
