"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." ~ Isaiah 55: 8-11

LITTLE SISTER / FTL #120...

WOOHOO - Happy Friday! Which also happens to be release day at A Day For Daisies - YIPPY!!! Here's a new image called Little Sister, isn't it gorgeous?!?

Here are the new releases... there is a $2 release special image, too - so be sure to go check it out!

I used the Fall-to Layout from this week (they posted it a little early last night!) for this card, I loved the simplicity of the sketch and thought it would go nicely with the image.

All the papers used for the card are digital. I placed the newsprint behind part of the image. The dresses were paper pieced digitally, then cut out & applied. I guess you could say this card is kinda a hybrid!

On another note I finally did a little Christmas shopping - yay! We don't really go overboard with the gifts, which makes it more enjoyable. I think my favorite part about Christmas these days is watching Alex on Christmas morning and this year Maisie, too & seeing their reactions to all that is going on around them. Christmas is so much more special seeing it through their eyes.

Bye for now...

beautiful card and I would of never guessed it was done with digital products.
I agree I get more joy out of watching the kids at Christmas time than getting presents.
