Time got away from me yesterday & I never was able to post this.... We have some FABULOUS colors for you this week at the colourQ.... some of my AL TIME FAVES!!! I made a little tag...
I folded the green paper into an accordian and then cut out the trees like I used to cut out dolls when I was a kid... 2 fit on this tag & I had enough to do a few more tags, too!
I can't believe Christmas is next week! AGHHHH! My mother confessed this morning she hasn't bought a single gift, which for my mother to say is quite alarming! The older I get the less those things mean... I think one of the best presents I ever got was from my grandmother, Meme, when I was 17. It was a small green bowl, Depression glass, that belonged to my great~grandmother Maisie (my daughter's namesake). When she died, Meme had it displayed on an old hutch and every time I went to visit, I would pick that bowl up and just hold it. A few months later I was shocked when I unwrapped it! In about 17 years I'll wrap it up again & give it to Maisie Grace... I hope she cherishes it as much as I do.
