"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." ~ Isaiah 55: 8-11

A FEW GOOD BOOKS / USSIS #84...

Happy Saturday! I really enjoyed this week's Unscripted Sketch, it inspired this digital scrap page documenting the books Alex is reading these days! I hope he'll get a kick out of it years from now, seeing the titles and his great-grandmother reading to him!

Meme, his great-grandmother would probably shoot me for putting her picture up like this... it was taken on July 4th, early in the morning as we all sat on the back porch of the lake house.

Usually at the lake the first person that gets up starts the coffee & goes out to the porch. As people wake up (we have as many as 13-14 there sometimes with people sleeping all over the place, the couch, the floor, etc... - lol!) they get coffee and go to the porch so they won't wake anyone. Once everyone is up we start cooking breakfast.

Well, thanks so much for stopping by, hope you get a chance to play along with this week's Unscripted Sketch - we'd love to have you!

Bye for now...

Oh what a wonderful way to interpret this sketch. I love how you are showing what he is reading these days. My little Micah's favorite book this week is "The Night Before Christmas".

You seriously could not have picked a more perfect way to use that particular sketch! It is like it was made to use with the books, so cute.
