"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." ~ Isaiah 55: 8-11

SURPRISE LILY / CTD #74, SR #1 & PPA #24...

A quick card for today... now that Jeff is home nights, it's been wreaking havoc on my stamping schedule - lol - not that I'm not thrilled he's home...

Margaret Moody put up another awesome simple sketch challenge at Pals Paper Arts this week, I really love her "clean design" sketch style! I'm not sure I would be able to produce such great sketches on a regular basis, so I admire all the ladies who do! Color Throwdown had some awesome colors this week, as well. I've always been a huge fan of orange, pink & brown. AND this week was the premier of a new challenge, Stampin' Royalty, a weekly challenge from a talented group of Stampin' Up! demos! Luckily, they do allow other brands to be used for their challenges, but I would have used SU! if I had read that before I made my card!

This stamp is Lily, from Pink Cat Studio... A year or so ago I fell in love with Lily & Billy, they're just so sweet! They're great for coloring and paper-piecing, both of which I used here. Of course, as you can see, by the time I matted Lily, she was almost too big for the card! I added Stickles to the bow on her head, and rhinestones to the present she's popping out of.

Have a great day!
