"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." ~ Isaiah 55: 8-11

SEEDS OF FRIENDSHIP / ADFD Spotlight...

Hello! Today over at A Day For Daisies' blog we did a little spotlight of one of my favorite past Club Kits, from March 2012 - Bonnets. When I was little I had a Holly Hobbie growing up (she's still at my mom's house) and my mom did a big needlepoint Holly Hobbie, too. I guess that's why I love this set so much! I used Basket Bonnet and did some digital paper piecing.

The papers are all from a digital kit, Signs of Spring by Mye De Leon, a very sweet and talented designer over at Pixels & Company. The sentiment is from one of my sets, In the Garden over at The Wax Fruit Company.

Speaking of Mye, she had a baby boy the day before my birthday. Alphonse was born with a congenital heart disorder called Tetralogy of Fallot - there is a hole in his lower heart chambers causing him not to have enough oxygenated blood in his lungs and body. They are in the Philippines, and have no insurance to cover the $12, 500 surgery he will need to survive. The surgeon wants the surgery to happen within the next few weeks. Please lift their family up in your prayers.

The digi scrap community is rallying around the family, trying to help them raise the money for his surgery, if you feel that you can help, please visit this link. Other designers are putting together a kit, the sales from which will go to Mye's family. So I'll have info on that when it's released next week.

Thanks for stopping by,
