"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." ~ Isaiah 55: 8-11

U ROCK & ROLL / CFC #66 & TAWS Inspiration...

I AM SO EXCITED!!! Alison over at The Alley Way Stamps just released this FABULOUS new set, Sushi Bar!!! I LOVE SUSHI!!! This is my new favorite set... and YOU CAN WIN IT over at the TAWS blog ~ go check it out!

I glued rice to a piece of cardstock and used it as a "texture plate" for my "rice" on the sushi. Recently I saw that idea on someone's blog - she used it on quite a few of her cards. So if I saw that on your blog, please let me know - so I can give you credit!

When I saw the challenge over at CASual Friday to "Create a project featuring something you might see in or at the ocean", I thought this would be a funny entry - LOL! And thanks so much to the CASual Friday ladies for voting my card as the winner last week - I'm so honored!

Bye for now...

Your use of embossed textures really enhances the card. Great color scheme too, very nicely done. Good luck with the challenge!
