FLIP BURGER BOUTIQUE / DHD 1K4W...

Jeff and I went to one of my favorite places on Monday, Flip Burger Boutique. Richard Blais, a finalist on Top Chef opened it in Birmingham, AL. Luckily that's where Jeff reports to the VA Hospital a few times a year, so we usually try to go when we're up there. 

I had a Key Lime Pie shake, a tuna tartare burger and we shared hand cut fries with smoked mayo, and a chilled Thai green bean salad! YUMMMM!

This layout is for Design House Digital's 1 Kit 4 Ways... this collaboration Me Time and Me Time 2 is SO AWESOME!

MUMMY & SPIDER / DB #41...

Hey - I'm back again! We have an awesome new challenge starting today over at the Dilly Beans Challenge Blog - Black+White+Any other single color! I chose orange! I love orange!

This adorable image is called Mummy & Spider Love Candy - it is definitely one of my favorites! I used dotted paper and washi tape for the little banners. Before I printed the image, I digitally paper pieced some tiny newsprint onto the mummy. It's hard to see, but there are stickles on the lollipop. The Halloween twine is from Endless Inkabilities.

Hello! We have a new release and a new challenge over at A Day For Daisies... School Days! The challenge is to Break Out Those School Supplies - use any type of school supply on your project!

 I printed my image on notebook paper! I wasn't sure how my Copics would work with it, but it turned out pretty good I think. The sentiment was made using Alphabet Soup by The Alley Way Stamps.

I am also playing along with CAS-ual Fridays - FUN FUN FUN!!!

Happy Friday!!! The new release are in the store over at The Alley Way Stamps - and they are AWESOME!!! Here I have used Awesome Blossom for my sample for both the iSpy Sketch Challenge and the TAWS Be Inspired Challenge!

The vase and the petals are paper pieced. I used a white gel pen to add the highlight.

I loved the colors of this week's Play Date Cafe.... I may use them again!

LOVE MONSTER / RS #26...

Hello! Ready for a new RetroSketch?!? We have our August guest designer with us - Danielle Daws, one of my fellow DT teamies - I used both of the monster sets from The Alley Way Stamps, Monster Madness and Monster Mash - LOVE THEM!!! I thought I would make this card to tuck in Jeff's bag sometime before he goes to work... something to remind him of me - LOL! I wish I had her hair, but that eyeball is creepy, huh? She kinda looks like a love monster stalker!

A BIG SLICE / ADFD New Release...

WOW - I can't believe I finally have a spare minute to catch up on some posting! This card is for yesterday's new release over at A Day For Daisies... "Yummy Summer"! It is SO GORGEOUS!!! Tammy's images always just warm my heart and puts a smile on my face! They are just so precious. This image is called A Big Slice - makes me want watermelon! And another baby in the house! (Just kidding on that last part - LOL!)

Challenges I'm playing along with are Send A Smile (Anything goes for children) & Inspire Me Friday.
