"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." ~ Isaiah 55: 8-11

ADFD Sweeet Summer Blog Hop!!!!

Today's the DAY!!!! It's the A Day For Daisies Sweeeet Summer Blog Hop!!! WOOHOOOO!!!!

My first project is a sign for Maisie's room.... I found this sign in the deep bargain bin at the local dollar store. I covered the base with paper that is actually a digital paper from a kit by Karen Funk at Design House Digital. All my projects today used digital paper! I printed Maisie's name and the images onto adhesive mulberry paper, trimmed with a tear bar and adhered. The I sponged pink ink onto the edges and added some ribbon! Oh and don't forget the stickles around the edges. I also used a pink copic to re-color the copper~y trim element on the left hand side.

My second project is a coffee thermos! I found these years ago at Target, the bottom unscrews and you can add your own decoration... I think I saw some at Michael's the other week (I had to stop myself from buying more - LOL!) There's not a lot of room for layering more than 2 layers, but they're still fun to do, and make a cute gift!

I will "gift" this mug to a random "commentor" (usa only - sorry!)!

Here's my final project - a quick card!!!

Please hop on over to the ADFD blog to start at the beginning AND see what cool prizes are being offered!!!

Arielle (you're here!)
Thanks for hopping by!!!
