"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." ~ Isaiah 55: 8-11

SIMPLE VOGUE / SR #59, ACT #69 & LiM #2...

Let me start by saying... THIS WAS REALLY A CHALLENGE! I was blog hopping around a couple days ago & a gorgeous card by Vicky Hayes and the challenge where she had entered it, which was new to me! This week's Stampin' Royalty is to "Mark it Up!" (use markers), so I decided to combine it with this newfound challenge at Less is More, to do a one layer card.

I also got to play along with Stacey's Curtain Call, too! YAY ME!!! Is that 2 weeks in a row? SO as I mentioned, this is obviously a one layer card... it's been years I think since I did a REAL one layer card! All supplies are Stampin' Up!, the stamp set is called Vintage Vogue. Ahhh, except the card stock... that's a CS I got at Office Depot in the resume paper section. I love how it takes Copics, too!

Have a great morning & hope you get to play along with Stampin' Royalty this week!

Wow, less definitely IS more on this card--just look at this beauty! That is a gorgeous stamped border, and the pearls and ribbon are just the right, simple embellishments. Fabulous work, Arielle!

Vintage Vogue is a great set and I totally love this card you created using this set. So stunning and the cardstock you used is fantastic. It looks like watercolour paper but by the sounds of your post, its not. What great texture though
