"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." ~ Isaiah 55: 8-11

PURELY WHIMSICAL / CD #91, CTD #124 & DCBD #210...

I saw something really cool on my sweet friend Krystal's blog the other day - she had made the same card with a bunch of different color challanges and I thought - I WANT TO DO THAT! So thank you Krystal! Of course I finished these cards kinda late last night & forgot I needed to go ahead & post it to make the Color Dare deadline....waaaaah!

Tempting Pear Tangos

So as I said I used what's now last week's ColorDare of Tempting Turquoise, Perfectly Pear and Tangerine Tango - LOVE this combo! The sentiments of all three cards were from last year's Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration, Whimsical Words. The set on this card is called Funky Four. I added a little bling to all three cards, as well.

This card is for Color Throwdown, another awesome color combo! The set used for this is one I used a few days ago called Aviary, by SU!. All the buttons for these cards are Papertrey Ink, except the last card in which I used Basic Grey.

My last card uses SU! set, Growing Green. The ribbon for all three cards is SU!, as well as the patterned paper. This sketch was one I cased as part of a challenge back in May of 2009... I fell in love the that card & it's a sketch that I tend to think of from time to time - sorta a "go-to" sketch for me...

Bye for now,

Your welcome sweet friend!! But "really cool" may be an overstatement. Just ask my kids. They don't think anything I do is cool at all. :)
I love the Funky Four card. Fun colors and fun stamp set. I plan on getting it free during SAB.
Thanks for the props! You're the best!

Great cards Arielle. I really love the bird one and the flower one - especially because I think the colors are so striking. Great layout!
