A co-worker of Jeff has a son turning one today, so I dug into my retired Stampin' Up! sets & decided to use Cowboy Kid for his card. I just love this set! I used Taylor's sketch #57 for the layout.
I used a base of Ridinghood red, a layer of Pacific Point, and a layer of Baja Breeze that I stamped with the retired Denim background, inked with Pacific Point. I added copper eyelets to each corner.
I made the bandana print using the paisley stamp from the set, inked with Versamark and embossed in white. The bottom was torn and 3 large copper eyelet were added.
The layer under the cowboy was Pacific Point stamped in Pacific Point with the denim stamp, torn at the bottom. I added faux stitching to the bottom of this with a white gel pen. I paper-pieced the cowboys clothes, and colored his face with Copics. I made his outfit complete with a gold star brad for his 'badge'.
Thanks for looking!
