Another great sketch from AmyR last Friday as well as an awesome color inspiration from Stacey!
I got a visit from the mailman yesterday bringing me some of Taylor's yummy cupcake (cuppy for short) stamps! I couldn't wait to ink one up... isn't he cute! He was a little too large to make Amy's sketch work properly, but when you're halfway there... you're there! So I strayed from her sketch, but I think the end result was cute!
I used Raspberry Tart DSP (imagine that), Cameo Coral, Chocolate Chip and Whisper White cardstock. I cut the background white & dsp & layered them before I embossed them in the Big Shot. Otherwise, had I embossed them separately, they wouldn't have glued together well. I paper pieced the heart, colored the pencil with colored pencils & used my Stampin' Write markers to color the little guy in!
BTW~ here's a picture of my little drooling, teething cupcake! This was taken on 1.23.09, and you can see he has 2 little teeth on the bottom... the 2nd had just popped through. What you can't see is his 3rd tooth on the top was starting to come through!
Fast forward 2 weeks~ his 4th tooth is now coming in & his 5th is just below the surface! He's gotten 5 teeth in the last month, started sitting up unassisted, began crawling & is now trying to climb on & gnaw everything in site! I know people say they grow up fast, but this is CRAZY!
