Today's new release over at A Day For Daisies is simply divine! I love mermaids and Tammy's rendition of The Little Mermaid is just jaw~dropping! I used colored pencils to color it up and accented some of the waves with Stickles. The ribbon is from my sweet friend, Sherry, she hand dyes it! She also sells it, so if you need some (and trust me, you do NEED some!) go visit her!

I was making my card last night and put together this sentiment for it and then decided to make a whole set of them! The new sentiments are called "Happy to Bee" and coordinate with the Busy Bee image (seen below)!

The fabulous twine I used on this card came from a sweet gal named Jodi, on Etsy. Her shop is called "talkingtwineandtrim". This sampler of 11 colors, 10 yards of each, was only $12.00! And look at her adorable AND functional packaging! How many times has your bundle of twine ended up being just a giant knotty mess? Not with these! If you go visit her, tell her Arielle says hello!

BOTTLE ROCKETS / WFCo. New Release...

I know it's a little early for the 4th of July, but I've been thinking about "the good old days" when I was a kid and I remember one of my fondest memories is of bottle rockets. Every Major holiday (yes, even Christmas) my cousins and I would shoot off bottle rockets at my great-grandma's house. We would see just how many we could stuff into a Coca Cola bottle and light at one time. SO FUN!

So here's to Bottle Rockets!

Today is...

my and Jeff's 4th Anniversary! He sent me flowers, how sweet is that? I think it's only the 2nd or 3rd time, I was really surprised!

Jeff is my best friend. The best friend I've ever had. He puts up with my crafting mess, and I put up with his sense of humor - LOL! We had Alex 2 days before our first anniversary. By our 2nd anniversary we were pregnant with Maisie. It's been a quick four years, but the best of my life!

Here's to the next 4, and the next & the next!

KING OF CHESS / WFCo. New Release and CQC #88...

Father's Day is just around the corner! Where does time go? Jeff loves chess, so I drew this digi set, King of Chess, to use for his Father's Day card this year. I paper pieced it for this card, and added some shadowing with Copics. Just a quick, simple little card! The colors are from this week's colourQ Challenge.
