BUG&ROO HILLIE / CQC #122 & CPS Day 2 - #166....

Good morning! Tuesdays are always busy around here! Hope your week is going great so far! My card for this week's colourQ is also combined with my byLORIdesigns Inspiration card, using this fabulous image by Hannah Boyd for her Bug&Roo collection. The image is called Hillie - isn't it adorable? I left the heart in the image white, since Hillie's not finished decorating her valentine yet!

The sketch is from Card Positioning System's 5th Anniversary Day 2.

DAISY GIRL / SSSC #151...

Hello!!! It's as much of a Monday as it can be - LOL! Thought I'd pop over and put this post up super quick... I have another hour left in my workday. This image, Daisy Girl, is actually an embroidery pattern I found on the British equivalent of Etsy, called Folksy. Isn't she adorable? I LOOOOVED the long striped socks - super cute!

The same artist had a few other patterns, which I bought. The image comes in a pdf, but you can open those in Photoshop. If you don't have Photoshop, you can still get it to where you can use it. 

Just open a blank Word document, open the pdf and enlarge the window the pdf is in as big as you can get it & then enlarge the pdf as big as you can get it, while still keeping the entire image in view. 

Click the button at the top of your keyboard that says "PrtScn" - which is Print Screen. After you click that, go back to the Word doc & click the "Ctrl" & "v" keys on your keyboard... which is a shortcut to paste. A pic of the entire screen (which includes the image in the pdf) should show up.

Then you can use the steps in my previous tutorial to crop it & print it! Easy as pie!

I also used Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch... which I REALLY LOVE!!!!

HYPNO EYE GIRL / DS #9 & CPS #252...

Good afternoon! We have a brand new sketch for you over at the Dilly Beans Challenge, the theme is "Freaked"! I thought this image, Hypno Eye Girl, would be perfect! She looks kinda "freaked" out, doesn't she?!? She's so sweet, though with her head tilted to the side in a melancholy way.

I usually pick out my papers before I color, but today I colored first. I found this Basic Grey paper, with it's subdued hues to act as "backup". If you get a chance come play along!

I based this card on the current Card Positioning System's sketch.

MARCIE LOVES YOU / Bug&Roo New Release & DS #36...

 Good morning! I'm finally here - WOOHOO! Maisie has been under the weather, last night we were up really late! I am SO SO SO excited to be showing off this cutie~patootie image by Hannah Bug, one of her newest Bug&Roo images, Marcie! I love this adorable little thing!

I used some My Mind's Eye, Happy Go Lucky paper. One of the papers had the speech bubbles, so I just cut one out and popped it on. The ric-rac I found at Christmas over at Michaels - love the sparkle! What a fun card this was to make - all my favorite colors + buttons + cute image = HAPPY HEART!

I used this week's newest Deconstructed Sketch, kinda flipped on it's side. Come play with us if you get a chance! Jen's sketches are always a blast!

FLOWER~y THANKS / CQC #121...

We have a gorgeous new palette for you over at the colourQ today! For this card I used some Papertey dies. I drew the flower stem & colored it in and added the rhinestones. Just a quick, simple card! Hope you can play along with us this week!

MERMAID / DS #8 & Mojo #224...

This is my last card for today - whew! We start a new challenge today over at the Dilly Beans Challenge, the theme is "the Blues". I chose to work with this gorgeous image, Mermaid. I LOVE MERMAIDS!!! She's colored with Copics and then I added some stickles to her hair and fish~body (LOL - what else do I call it?!?)... but not too may stickles, just a few! Be sure to go see the other ladies cards - they're FAB!!!

I also used (and slightly abused!) the Mojo sketch... heehee! From my computer screen to my craft area, I often forget what a sketch looks like... but I think it's close!

CHICKS IN A SNOW GLOBE / ADFD New Release...

Tammy has the "fun~est" release ever over at A Day For Daisies today - SNOW GLOBES!!! They are all so gorgeous, too! It was really hard to choose one to use, but I settled on Chicks in a Snow Globe - so darling! We also have a challenge starting today to use glitter. If you click on the image to enlarge it, you can probably see the glitter on mine!

UNICORN TOY / DS #35 & ADFD January Club Kit...

Good morning! Jen has a FABULOUS new Deconstructed Sketch today - WOOHOO! I love the simplicity of this one! The image is from A Day For Daisies, from this month's exclusive club kit! I freaked  when I saw this image, Unicorn Toy - it's SOOOOOO adorable!!! I colored her with Copics and added some stickles to her 'horn', as well as the unicorn's.

HELLO / CQC #120 & FTL #173...

Good morning!!! We have a super fun palette for you today over at the colourQ!  I used a PTI set, Stitches & Swirls, LOVE IT! I inked it with Stampin' Up! markers & added some blingy clear rhinestones that I also colored with the markers.

I used the Fall-to Layout from Clean&Simple Stamping - LOVE their sketches SO MUCH!
