POLKA DOT BLOOMS / TPE #110 & CR84FN #35...

Good morning! We have a new challenge for you over at the Pink Elephant today - a sketch - YAY! Sadly, though, this is my last challenge with the Pink Elephant! I just love all the ladies over there & I'm certainly going to miss them! Things have really taken off for me in a few areas of my life, and while I wish I had time for everything, I just don't.

Anyways, I also played along with CR84FN's cool palette... although my purple is darker in this pic. Over the weekend I had to send my Nikon DSLR out for repairs [sigh], so all I have until it comes back is a little Nikon Coolpix - it takes THE worst pics of my projects! So keep your fingers crossed that my "baby" will be back soon! Until then, I apologize in advance for the quality of my photos!

COLOR MY WORLD / ST 7.28.11....

I peeked in at the sketch this week ever at Sketchy Thursdays - too cute! The kids and I played outside last week (crazy - I know, in the 95+ degree weather) and they had fun with the sidewalk chalk while I had fun with the camera!

I mostly used Karen Funk's kit, Color My World, but also threw in a paper from her newest release Giggles and Grins and one of her papers from the DHD iNSD Blog Hop.

Come back tomorrow... I have a new little adventure starting for all you digi scrappers out there - any level!

GAMMAW'S ORNAMENTS / WFCo New Release...

Good morning! It's been a long week... I've been down with a bad cold/sinus infection for most of it! But I'm up and about this morning with the help of some sinus meds! This image of antique ornaments are just like the ones my Gammaw always had on her tree every Christmas. They were very delicate and the paint was worn, as well as the glittery trim. She always got one of my great-uncles to go to the "woods" to get her tree, always a 4 or 5 foot evergreen with wispy and sparse branches. She toss on some tinsel, lights and her few ornaments, and I swear it was just lovely!

So this image is called Gammaw's Ornaments.

And here's a new set called Loco for Cocoa! One cup with whipped cream and a peppermint and the other with a snowflake cookie!

Have a great Saturday! We have to go turn in my camera for some repairs...ugh!

FUN ON THE WATER...

Yup - 2nd post for today... Design House Digital has new releases on sale every Thursday & today I picked up Beach Ball, a digi scrap kit by Robyn Meierotto. So of course, I was itching to use it!

This pic was taken by Jeff when we took Maisie for her first outing on the boat at the lake! Mom and Dad have a pontoon boat. Maisie really wanted to walk around, but that wasn't safe - so she was mad! Alex loved getting to steer and honk the horn.

Hello! I'm writing this from the couch today - home, sick with some kinda head cold...ACHOO! We have a new sketch for you over at the Deconstructed Sketch today... WOOHOO! It's so cute, too!

Here's a layout of Maisie from the first of July, she LOVES the water! She and Alex both try to swim in the tub every time I give them a bath... they lay on their stomachs - it drives me crazy!

Hey gang! Hope you had a great weekend... I was trying to do some cleaning in my stamp area - wish I'd gotten farther! We have some super colors for you today over at the colourQ! We're on challenge number 95... so hard to believe I started the challenge almost 2 years ago - whew~ where does time go?

I did a really quick and simple card, using punches and a sentiment from PTI. Nothing too fancy here, folks!

9 THINGS... / K. Funk New Release...

Ahhh, digital scrapping ~ one of my many loves... This is a biographical page, actually the first one I've ever done! All the little images are some of the things I found on Etsy that make me smile. Jeff took this pic of me recently, and frankly I rarely like ANY pics of me.... but he tries! I didn't have on a stitch of make-up even! I actually drew the the doodles on the page, too!

This layout is made with a new kit is from Karen Funk, called Giggles & Grins. It is so cute!!!

I promise the sketch is there - you just have to look for it a little! LOL! A new Deconstructed Sketch is up today, you'll have to play along!

I used a new Wax Fruit Co. image, Apple Blossoms. I just LOVE coloring, when I really have time to put into it. I used some of my new buttons from AMuse Studio, you know how I love buttons! When I got my packagein the mail, I realized I had bought every color of the rainbow in buttons!
