"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." ~ Isaiah 55: 8-11

ALEX at the park / CQC #52 & CQC #27...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY COLOURQ!!! For 52 weeks now I have hosted a color challenge, and not only has it been a blast, I've met SO MANY talented and awesome people!!!

For the challenge today, we have a sketch to use with our favorite colourQ challenge from the past year! I had actually started a different page with different colors, but when I was 'flipping' through the pics on my hard drive, I saw these and instantly remembered this challenge from April! So I changed gears...

We took Alex & Maisie out to the lake at a nearby army base on 9/11/10, so that Alex could play. It was SUPPOSED to be cool that day (low 90's), but instead it was closer to 100 degrees. Maisie slept in her stroller pretty much the whole time, while Alex & his daddy ran around. Alex can definitely be hard to keep up with!

I hope you get to play with us this week!
