So as part of my eternal quest for inspiration, last night while blog hopping I came across the new challenge for this week's Color Throwdown posted early on someone's blog... YAY!
These colors from Color Throwdown are certainly not ones I'd normally use together... so this was FUN! I paired it with Card Pattern's sketch for this week, I love square cards!
Don't ask me why, but I pulled out a retired Stampin' Up! set, Wild Rose, for this card. The rose is stamped in Blush Blossom & then using the Blush marker, I outlined/highlighted parts of the image. I love how the pearls in the center of the flower turned out. The EF is Cuttlebug, but I can't remember the name of it. It reminds me of those antique textured ceiling tiles... LOVE IT!

Just beautiful....I have that EF folder but can't remember the name of it. That rose is stunning with these colors! Thanks for playing along! :D
I have the same embossing folder...can't remember the name of it either...but I'd forgotten how beautiful it is! Gorgeous card!!
So pretty! I love the EF. I looked up the name it is TEXTILE TEXTURE. I think that is the right one. It is really pretty.
I met with my son today and he gave me some help. He showed me how to use Grap and I bought Photoshop Elements. I have a lot to learn.
Do you pay for the Keep in Touch. I looked at Feed Burn and it was only free for a month. I love that I get an email when you post and I want to add that to my blog.
Hugs,
Linda
