"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." ~ Isaiah 55: 8-11

GREEN THUMB THANK YOU / TESC #117 & PDCC #34...

As I was scouring today's challenges this morning looking for a quick lunchtime project, I was shocked to see that my digital layout, "billa billa" was chosen as the Cup of the Week over at Play Date Cafe!!! I'm so honored! So I decided I would play with their next challenge, too!

I just LOVE creating things that are black & white w/ a spot of color, so of course I HAD TO PLAY along with the Play Date's gorgeous color combo! If you don't play along with them, you should! I paired it with Taylor's awesome sketch, although I did take some liberties with it - lol!

I used the Green Thumb set from Papertrey Ink, I bought it last month & finally got to ink it up! I think these flowers are just SCRUMPTIOUS! Not to mention perect for dressing up with bling!!! The border punch is Martha Stewart... I have so many I cannot remember the name of it! As I was punching it out, i sorta messed up & didn't connect it all the way on one side, so I decided to "mess up" on the other side & leave the bottom part attached. when I put it on the patterned paper I realized you couldn't really make it out clearly, so I put the blue behind it.

BTW - for some reason the resolution on these pics are awful, so you can't enlarge them to see the detail. I'll have to re-do them tonight so that you can!

Bye for now...
