"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." ~ Isaiah 55: 8-11

ALEX TURNED TWO...

Well, last week was super busy, and wrapped up with Alex's second birthday... where does the time go? I got out some pics of Alex's party last year, to compare & see how much he's grown...

I's incredible, isn't it? On one hand it's almost painful watching them grow up & on the other it's exciting to see them evolve into curious little people! In the left picture above, Alex didn't want to wear his hat - he was so mad! This year as we sang Happy Birthday, Alex was screaming "no!" - I think all the attention overwhelmed him a little. Plus he wanted to get his hands on the cake... which made me happy - as you can see, I slaved a couple hours on it.

Here he is opening presents... the most memorable present this year was a dinosaur that screeched when you pressed it's stomach. Alex freaked out & SCREAMED & we were all laughing our booties off... but Maisie really liked it... as evidenced by her chewing on it...

My stamp area (the dining room) was dismantled for the party - but I hope to drag some of it back out & get some real live stamping done tonight!

Bye for now...

It is amazing how much they change in one year! Thanks for sharing these sweet pictures. It brings back wonderful memories on my two. They are 23 and 26 not. Two is a very special year. My blessings to Mom and Dad. LOL It's not always bad. One of mine was an easy 2 year old. The other one had me thinking maybe I needed to look for a military academy for him. Then when he was three he turned back into the sweetest little boy. Enjoy these year they fly by.
Hug,
Linda
