"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." ~ Isaiah 55: 8-11

BLUEBERRY GIRL / TPE #85 & TESC #131...

One of my fondest memories as a kid happened at my 'Gammaw's' house, my great grandmother Maisie Yelverton. She lived her entire life on the same road, within a 3 mile stretch. She lived on a farm, complete with an aging barn, cows, pigs, some chickens, and tons of trees; pecan, plum, fig, pomegranite... I loved spending time there - you never went hungry - lol!

When I saw this image by Mo Manning, Blueberry Girl, I just HAD TO HAVE IT! My mother has blueberry and blackberry bushes, and I'm so happy that my kids will know what it's like to pick those! I know it sounds silly, but picking things was such a joy to me, and I know it will be to them, too! This is my second card as guest designer for Mo's Dream Team blog - still pinching myself... and trying really hard not to post a card there EVERY day - cause you know I want to - lol!

I printed this image on white paper, so when I decided to use the Material Girl paper by Cosmo Cricket, I tea stained the paper the image is on. This is for 2 challenges, the Pink Elephant (childhood) and Taylor's sketch.

I hope you're having an awesome day & thanks so much for induging!
