I'm usually not in a mood to venture past anything but a card when I start crafting, but when I saw Riley's colors for this week's Color Dare, I had this idea:
Too bad I'm a couple days late finishing it up! I didn't do ANY stamping over the weekend... we had too many things planned with family, there was no time for me to relax! But here it finally is... SORRY RILEY! (btw Riley - I'm already working on next week's project!!!)
I found a template for this box, but I wanted the middle to be clear, so I just dove in & made this as I went. The finished dimensions are around 2 1/2"w X 5"h X 1"d. The ribbon handle may seem long, but it's actually secured to the acetate, and the top of the box just slides up the ribbon & doesn't come off completely. If anyone is interested in the diagram of the box, just leave a comment & I'll draw it up!
The greeting is from the Stampin' Up! set, All Holidays. This was the first time I inked it up! For the stars, I used both the Star punch & the Large Star punch from SU!. The border punch is from Martha Stewart.
