"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." ~ Isaiah 55: 8-11

FLOWER~Y HEART / CTD #79 & CPS #153...

Today has been great so far, Jeff sent me a dozen roses for Valentine's ~ how sweet is that?

I missed playing with the Color Throwdown last week, so I made sure to get in on the fun today! This week's colors at CTD are beautiful! I also used the CPS sketch, for this card! I've said it before, but I love combining sketches, it takes away some of the "planning" stage so you can get right to the stamping fun!!!

The flowers are punched from vellum, with the Boho Blossoms punch from Stampin' Up!, then I "brushed" ink onto the edges with a stiple brush. The hearts were die cut with scalloped heart Nestabilities, and on the white one I sponged Blush Blossom ink around the edges before I popped it out form the die. The buttons, dsp & ribbon are retired... just dug them out of my stash!

Thanks for stopping by!
