ENCOURAGING WORDS / CQC#69 & FTL #124...

YAY, it's time for another colourQ challenge!!! This card features one of my new digital sentiments from the set "Encouraging Words".

I used this week's Fall-to Layout again - love it! The stamp is from Papertrey Ink - "Year of FLowers: Marigolds". The scallop die used is also PTI.

I stamped the flower in Momento Tuxedo Black onto Kraft (sorry, I'm not ready to call it Crumb Cake yet...) and then colored it with copics. I preinted the sentiment out, colored it in & die cut it!

DAISY BABY BUD / TPE #92 & CS #22...

Good morning! It's Monday & I'm dragging a little bit! Alex has the flu, and the rest of us are taking Tamiflu, keeping our fingers crossed! Hope you are well! Today's card features Daisy Baby Bud from Baby Bud Designs, who is sponsoring the current Pink Elephant Challenge.

I used sketch #22 from Cardabilities. These little Baby Buds are so fun to color! I used Copics. The TPE challenge is to use brown, red & pink.

The sentiment is from a set called Big Little Words that I designed! My new shop is the Wax Fruit Company. You can get a freebie from this set to try out on my previous post.

TWO OF A KIND / ADFD #10, FTL #124 & PDCC #65...

We have new releases & a new challenge for you, "Organic Soul" over at A Day For Daisies! Our challenge today is to use something organic on your card, so I used some seeds from my cardinal vine last year!

When I saw the sketch for this week's Fall-to Layout, I knew Tammy's image "Two of a Kind" would be PERFECT! The fun colors from the Play Date Cafe only added to the playfulness of the card, so many thanks to them!

But back to the new release....you HAVE to go see the other images.... I LOVE THEM!!!

I've been dabbling in making digital sentiments to go with some of the digis I use. Here is the one I used today... I am sharing it with you as a freebie for a few days. Please be kind and use it if you take it & come back & show me your creation. Otherwise, I'll figure no one cares & I won't share anymore - lol!

WOOHOO - today starts the 2nd challenge over at byLORIdesigns!!! We had 37 entries for our first challenge - YAY!!! Maybe you'll play with us this week?

HOPE'S SOCKS / CPS #201 & TTD #32...

Meet Hope - she's a little cutie-patootie from Mo Manning! I love those mis-matched socks, and all the hearts and checks!

My sketch is from Card Positioning Systems, and the Valentine theme is over at Tuesday Throwdown!

I colored Hope with Copics. I decided to try to make the coloring a little less saturated than I usually do. The EF is SU! and the border punch is Fiskars. Buttons are PTI & ribbon from my stash!
