IN MY GARDEN / ADFD New Release & CPS #203...

It's release day over at A Day For Daisies!!! Tammy has whipped up some gorgeously warm and refreshing garden images... they make me want spring to be here right NOW!

I combined 3 of the potted plants to create this card, aren't they beautiful? I also used this week's sketch from Card Positioning Systems.... love that little tab! These new sets can be found in the "Just Picked" section of the ADFD site. The sentiment is by me...

BABY MEGAN SUGAR STICK / BLD #3 & VLV Feb 2011...

Time for a new byLORIdesigns challenge!!! Today I used Baby Megan in my card, along with the colors Cherry Cobbler, Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose and Early Espresso!

I also used the Viva la Verve sketch for the first week of February, I just LOVE it! I paper pieced Baby Megan's dress and bow by running a piece of PP through my printer. I added a little faux stitching, some buttons and ribbon to finish it up!

LOVE & CHOCOLATE / WFCo Release, CR84FN #13 & WMSSC #41...

I know you're drooling - LOL! Here are my 2 latest sets for the Wax Fruit Company... Sweets for the Sweet, a set of 5 candies and 6 new sentiments in a set called Love & Chocolate! I love Valentines & I love chocolate, so here's my tribute to both!

I used the gorgeous colors from CR84FN... I know I've been using these colors A LOT lately... I just can't get enough of them!!! And the super darling sketch is from Wee Memories! What a perfect combination!!!

I used Crystal Effects on the chocolate to give it that shiny, yummy appeal. the wrap is paper pieced... just run that designer paper through your printer!!! The scalloped heart is felt from Giantdwarf - tell her Arielle sent you!!! She's awesome & she has the samplers back in stock - so hurry!!!

Good morning! Well, I say 'good', but I just spent I don't know how long trying to remember the name of this retired SU! set... any one know? I can look when I go home for lunch, I guess - which makes me wonder why I've wasted so much time trolling the internet searching - lol!

Om my - I loved this week's colors from Stampin' Royalty!!! SO perfect! And I just knew I had to use the Fall-to Layout, as well!

This is such a simple card... the strips are an inch wide and about 2 1/4 - 2 1/2 inches long. Somehow everything came out pretty even - lol!
