GO FLY A KITE / 2S4Y #21...

I got some new stamps in the mail~ YAY! They're from a company I hadn't heard of, Shirley's 2 Girls, this one is called 'Kite'. Their stamps are very whimsical, and looked terrific for coloring & for paper piecing! I saw one of their stamps on a card for a challenge I was in, I wish I could remember whose card it was... and I had to get some of their stamps for myself! I love this little kite!

This card is for Kazan's sketch #21 at 2 Sketches 4 You. I used So Saffron, Bashful Blue, Riding Hood Red, Old Olive, and Kiwi Kiss prints DSP to paper piece the image. Flowers and vines from Stampin' Up!'s hostess level 2 set, are stamped on the Old Olive cardstock with Old Olive ink. I used a Martha Stewart border punch, as well. The card is embellished with Bashful Blue grosgrain ribbon and 2 light blue button brads.

So, everyone go fly I kite~ I plan to!
