"This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.
This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another,
God lives in us and his love is made complete in us." ~ 1 John 4:9-12

TRUE FRIEND / USSIS #40 & DCBD #162...

Yay - it's another Unscripted Sketch It Saturday!!! Ready to play along?!?

Today's card is brought to you by two SUPER FAB challenges... The Unscripted Sketch & Diva Coffee Break Design's color combo! This week's sketch is just perfect, isn't it? And the Diva's colors are gorgeous... so much fun!

I pulled out a set I haven't played with in a while, True Friend, by Stampin' Up! I used my Stampin' Write Markers to ink the stamps. The ribbon & button brads are some from my stash - not sure where they came from. The punch is called Scallop Trim Border, and it's FREE with a $50 purchase ~ how cool is that? As a matter of fact, during Sale-a-Bration it's one of quite a few items that are free with a $50 purchase! Thanks so much for looking...

So throw a bowl of cereal at the kiddos, let 'em watch cartoons & go stamp something Unscripted!!!

ITTY BITTY BETTY - Ladybug on Flower / PDCC #14, PTW #33 & PIO #3...

How cute is this little girly - Itty Bitty Betty? I think she's adorable...

I made this card for a few different challenges today... you know I don't ever like to combine too many challenges! (Maybe I'm not brave enough, or organized enough?!?) Anyways, it's been a while since I played along with the Play Date Cafe, so I took on the challenge of their VERY challenging colors... and I think it turned out okay! I used Papertake Weekly's cute sketch, a little modified, of course.... and for a late entry for Pile It On, the challenge was "warm wishes", which I think this sentiment covers nicely!

This is a digital stamp from Pink Cat Studio called Itty Bitty Betty, Ladybug on a Flower... I think it is so sweet! I used my new Cuttlebug embossing folder, Argyle, and the ribbon is from who knows where! The sentiment is STampin' Up!'s set All Holidays.

Bye for now & thanks for stopping by!

INSPIRED WHIMSY / CTD #77...

It's so nice when both kids go down for a nap at the same time...

I love the fab colors at the Color Throwdown this week ~ and yes... I know I ALWAYS say that, but it's true every time I say it - lol! I just LOVE color!!!

I combined three stamp sets for this card, the grass from Inspired by Nature, the little flower from With All My Heart, and the sentiment from Whimsical Words. The dsp in the 'quilting' is retired.

Hope you're having an awesome day & thanks so much for stopping by!

LOTS OF 'BOTS / CD #53 & Mojo #123...

Yay - Riley's colors this week are AWESOME - I got to ink up these cute little robots for a cool boy's birthday card...

I combined this week's Color Dare with the Mojo sketch, for this little card - I love how Julee included 2 variations on the sketch... I admit, I freaked out a little when I saw the 5 colors for the Color Dare, but they all went together so easily... I love this combo! If you're looking for a great challenge, come play along at tbe Color Dare!

This stamp set is from Stampin' Up! called Lots of 'Bots. I raided hubbies tool box for the silver wire & the cool screw top brads I bought years ago... wish I could remember who made them!

Have a great week & don't foeget to play along with the Color Dare!

TFG CHARLOTTE / TGF CHA Relay Day #2 @MTSC #58...

Wow - 2 cards today... I'm on a roll!

I used Mercy's sketch (wink, wink - lol!) for this card... this is day 2 of The Greeting Farm's CHA Relay... isn't this little gal cute?
Gotta go cook dinner~ thanks for dropping in...

Bye for now!

ESSENCE OF LOVE / CQC #17 & 2S4Y #44...

An oldie but a goodie... this retired SU! set is probably one of my favorites by far...

This card is for 2 challenges, colourQ #17 & Laura's sketch over at 2 Sketches 4 You.

Looking at the inspirations for the colourQ made me want to take it a bit literal (as one of the colourQ guest designers admitted, too - like minds, huh?) So when I thought of being literal, this set came to mind. The black silhouette is stamped onto Bashful blue & then sponged with Taken with Teal. I then Versamarked the whole thing & clear embossed it, which you can't really tell from the photo. Plus doing that seemed to darken up the bashful blue, but it's there, oh well... I always stick a butterfly on these image, and the other colourQ guest designer used a butterfly as well... so we had couple concurrent themes in the colourQ samples this week - lol! The butterfly is a MS punch & I added 3 black rhinestones to it's body.

Have a great day & play along with these challenges if you get a chance!
Bye for now...

EGG-CELLENT EASTER / Act 14 & SSSC #53...

I know we haven't made it past Valentine's yet... but when I saw these beautiful colors I thought of Easter...

Today's awesome colors are courtesy of Stacey and her Act 14 challenge! Karen's sketch is wonderful, as always! If you've never played along with either of these, you should!!! What are you waiting for?!?

This set is a retired Stampin' Up! set from last years Occasions Mini Catalog... which goes to show, you better get them before they're gone! Isn't this such a cute bunny? The sentiment is from a current Occasions mini set called Well Scripted.

Thanks for dropping by & have a great week!

IAN the MERMAN / EIC #72, CP #48 & TGF CHA Relay - Day 1...

Today is day 1 for The Greeting Farm's CHA Relay, everyone gets a free digital stamp & if you use it & post your creation to their gallery & follow a couple other rules, you can get another free digi each day for 5 days!

So I used this cute Ian MerMan digi for this card based on 2 challenges, the Etsy Inspired challenge and Card Patterns sketch 48!

I'm not really sure where these papers came from, I got them at my local craft superstore. The buttons are Basic Grey. I watercolored Ian's tail with Taken With Teal & then used my Taken With Teal marker to draw on the scales. The rest of the image was colored with Copics.

Bye for now!

COFFEE & FRIENDS / USSIS #39 & ACT #13...

These crazy Bellas LOVE their coffee... then again, so do I...

I just love the sketches at Unscriptedsketches.com, isn't this one super swell! I loved the blocks in the right hand corner, that inspired me to use them as my sentiment! Stacey's colors for this week's Act #13 were great, too! Pink and orange are so happy together - they remind me of cotton candy for some reason, although I've never seen orange cotton candy!

This stamp is obviously a Bella... and the sentiment is from Unity. I used my Stampin' Up! ink pads and blender pens to color the image.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

LOVE~Y BIRD / EBK #14, PTW & Mojo #122...

Love is in the air... if you don't believe me, go hopping around a few stamper's blogs & you'll find lots of Valentine cards out there...

I had a few minutes tonight in between Maisie's 'naps' to throw together this quick card based on Julie's SUPER F-A-B colors at Easy Breezy Kewl. I decided to use Julee's Mojo sketch, too! Two Julie/Julee's - 2 great challenges! I also used a lot of pink, which is the theme at Papertake Weekly! YAY - 3 challenges!

This is another Unity stamp, from a set called Birds of a Feather. It's SO SWEET!

Have a great weekend!!!
